Oh my, I haven’t been really posting but here’s hoping that I will be able to blog more soon.

Copeland Lake is a man made lake located just inside the entrance to the Wild Basin Area. A moose was actually swimming in the water but being armed with my wide-angle lens, I settled for capturing the scenery instead.

I have been asked numerous times which one is tougher — ascending/summiting or descending? Without batting an eyelash, I always tell them it is going down.

More often than not, the initial question is followed by a big WHY?

You would think that hiking up is harder but I never saw it that way. On the way up, I am always all excited, energized, focused and hardly makes mistakes. It’s all about reaching the top and oftentimes, I am surrounded with like-minded individuals pushing me to do even better…

On the other hand, drained and physically (even mentally) exhausted, I trekked my way down sometimes feeling alone on that part of the journey. It even left  me wondering up to this point in time, where were the people who were there with me to the peak?

It is true when one said that “the backside of the mountain is a fight against human nature. You have to care as much on your way down as you did on the way up…”

As we go back to the mountain which taught me a lot about myself soon, I will try to practice more what it has imparted me.

I am finally learning my lessons.

Even though shooting for events wasn’t my cup of tea, I happily agreed to Star when she asked me to take photos from Aidan’s baptism two Sunday’s ago.

Last weekend gave me a fantastic opportunity to touch base with some of my friends (and their beautiful offsprings) whom I haven’t seen for awhile.

It is wonderful to realize how time is flying so fast by how fast these children are growing. Oh my.

Little Ayrton recently became a “kuya” (big brother) to newborn Kimi Sebastian De Leon.

Anyway, JZ said that I was following you a lot last Sunday. I have to admit, I did. I am enamored and it’s so obvious why.
